Premium Party Bus & Charter Service in Bloomington
Party Bus in Indianapolis has been coordinating group transportation since 2011 — that's over 15 years of moving groups from tailgates on Fee Lane to brewery tours in the B-Line District and late-night pickups along 3rd Street. Bloomington isn't a small-town logistics puzzle to us; it's a campus city with narrow neighborhood streets, limited event-day parking, and a game-day traffic pattern on SR-46 that turns a 10-minute drive into 45 minutes if your timing is wrong. We know exactly where the bus parks for an IU football Saturday, which lots fill first around the Convention Center Hotel, and how far the walk is from the nearest rideshare zone at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.
Because we provide all-inclusive pricing online in under 30 seconds, you know exactly what you're paying before you ever commit. Our reservation team is available 24/7/365 — so whether you're planning a prom night pickup from Bloomington High School North or coordinating a 56-person charter for a corporate retreat coming down from Indianapolis on SR-37, a real person is always one call away. We offer a massive variety of vehicles, so you never pay for empty seats.

Why Choose Us for Your Bloomington Party Bus Rental
Bloomington is a college city on a schedule the rest of Indiana doesn't run on. When Indiana University hosts a Big Ten opponent at Memorial Stadium or Assembly Hall, parking on the side streets around 17th Street fills by noon and the SR-46 corridor from I-69 backs up miles before anyone reaches the campus perimeter. Rideshare demand spikes at the same moment that 40,000 people all try to leave at once — and post-game surge pricing on Uber and Lyft around Jordan Avenue and 3rd Street can triple what you paid to get there.
Party Bus in Indianapolis handles all of that for your group. One booking, one flat rate, one vehicle that picks everyone up together, drops them at the gate, and waits for the ride home. No caravan of cars.
No designated-driver negotiations. No $12-per-space parking that filled up two hours before kickoff anyway.
Plus, we serve the full corridor between Bloomington and Indianapolis on SR-37 and I-69 — so if your group is coming down from the city for a weekend, or heading up for an Indy event before swinging back, we coordinate the whole run. Since 2011, thousands of groups have trusted us for exactly that kind of one-call solution. Call 317-352-2863 and we'll build your quote in minutes.
Bloomington Party Bus Services We Offer
Party Bus in Indianapolis coordinates group transportation for every occasion in Bloomington and across South-Central Indiana — from airport transfers and IU sporting events to bachelorette nights on Kirkwood, prom pickups, school field trips, wedding shuttles, and brewery tours through the B-Line District. Whatever brings your group together, we have a vehicle and a plan ready. Call 317-352-2863 to get your group moving!

Bloomington Airport Shuttles & Transportation
The closest major airport to Bloomington is Indianapolis International Airport (IND) (7800 Col. H. Weir Cook Memorial Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46241), about 55 miles north via SR-37 and I-465 — a straightforward run of roughly an hour when traffic is moving, but SR-37 through Martinsville narrows and slows during peak hours and bad weather. Monroe County Airport (BMG) handles charter and cargo traffic but no major commercial service, so IND is the answer for virtually every group flying in or out.
Instead of coordinating a caravan of cars for an early-morning departure, one Bloomington airport shuttle bus rental handles the whole group — luggage in the undercarriage bays, everyone on board, and no one scrambling for parking at IND's hourly garage. For incoming groups, have your coordinator call once the last bag is off the carousel; we wait at the commercial vehicle zone on the lower level and pull up when you're ready. Call 317-352-2863 to book your Bloomington airport transportation today.

Bloomington Bachelor & Bachelorette Transportation
Kirkwood Avenue is Bloomington's main drag, and on a Friday or Saturday night the street fills up fast — every bar from Nick's English Hut (423 E Kirkwood Ave) to The Runcible Spoon patio has a crowd spilling out the door by 9 p.m. Add the clubs near Walnut Street, late nights at The Vid, and the entire stretch of 6th Street bars, and parking downtown becomes something to solve before your first drink, not after your last.
A Bloomington bachelorette party bus rental cuts out that problem. Everyone boards together, the color-changing LED lights and built-in bar set the tone from the first pickup, and no one is stuck as the designated driver on a crawl from Nick's to The Crazy Horse to a late stop at Kilroy's on Kirkwood. We build the custom schedule around your crew's stops — call 317-352-2863 now and let's get your night rolling.

Bloomington Birthday, Sweet 16, & Quinceañera Party Bus Rentals
Milestone celebrations in Bloomington deserve more than a string of Ubers. Whether the birthday crew is heading to dinner at Upland Brewing Company (350 W 11th St, Bloomington, IN 47404), a movie night at the Starlite Drive-In on the outskirts of town, or a karaoke run downtown before ending the night at the square, a Bloomington birthday party bus rental keeps everyone together from the first pickup to the last drop-off.
For Sweet 16s and quinceañeras, we can coordinate white, black, or silver buses to match your event's color palette. Pre-load a custom playlist, let us know your venue, and we'll handle every route detail. Because we offer a massive variety of vehicles, you never pay for empty seats — a 15-passenger party bus for an intimate crew or a 40-passenger minibus for a bigger celebration, the right vehicle is in our fleet.
Call 317-352-2863 to start planning.

Bloomington Concert Transportation & Shuttles
Bloomington's concert calendar runs year-round, and parking near the venues is a consistent headache. The Buskirk-Chumley Theater (114 E Kirkwood Ave, Bloomington, IN 47408) sits right on Kirkwood with extremely limited nearby street parking — the closest public garage is the Courthouse Square Garage two blocks north, and it fills fast on show nights. The Bluebird (216 N Walnut St, Bloomington, IN 47404) is a beloved club a block off the square with essentially no dedicated lot.
For larger productions, IU's IU Auditorium (1211 E 7th St, Bloomington, IN 47405) draws 3,000-plus crowds to a campus setting where event-night parking in the adjacent E Lot requires a permit or a cash rate that climbs for walk-ups.
A Bloomington concert party bus drops your group at the venue entrance and picks everyone up when the set ends — no circling downtown for a spot, no one stuck in the designated-driver role. Call 317-352-2863 for a free concert transportation quote.

Bloomington Corporate Event Transportation
Bloomington's corporate event scene centers on the Hyatt Place Bloomington / Convention Center Hotel complex, the Monroe Convention Center (302 S College Ave, Bloomington, IN 47403), and the IU Innovation Center ecosystem near the Sample Gates. When a conference fills the Convention Center and every parking spot on College Avenue and 2nd Street is gone by 8 a.m., having your team take a minibus from the hotels on the 3rd Street corridor makes the whole day run smoother.
For executive transfers between Bloomington and Indianapolis — a quarterly board meeting at a DTC campus, a vendor event at the Indiana Convention Center, or a fly-in at IND — a Bloomington corporate bus rental gets your team up SR-37 in comfort. Reclining seats, WiFi, and power outlets mean your team arrives focused, not frazzled from a construction-slowed stretch through Martinsville. Call 317-352-2863 to discuss route logistics and group rates.

Bloomington Private Event Transportation Services
Bloomington's event calendar gives private groups plenty of reasons to move around Monroe County together. The Little 500 bicycle race (held at Bill Armstrong Stadium, 1000 E 17th St, Bloomington, IN 47408) draws tens of thousands of alumni and visitors every April — campus streets close, parking is restricted across the IU campus, and the party around the Phi Kappa Psi house and the stadium bleeds into every surrounding neighborhood. A private charter bus drops your alumni group at the venue gate while everyone else is circling Dunn Street looking for a spot.
The 4th Street Festival of the Arts & Crafts each Labor Day weekend closes several blocks of 4th Street between Rogers and Lincoln, turning the nearby parking into a premium scramble. For family reunions, church retreats, or group day trips to Brown County State Park in Nashville, Indiana (about 18 miles east on SR-46), one charter bus handles the whole crew for a single, flat rate. Call 317-352-2863 to build your custom transportation plan.

Bloomington Homecoming & Prom Party Bus Rentals
Prom season in the Bloomington area — Bloomington High School North (3901 N Kinser Pike), Bloomington High School South (1965 S Walnut St), Edgewood High School in Ellettsville — runs from late April through mid-May, the same window as IU's Little 500 race weekend. That overlap is critical: Little 500 weekend (typically the third weekend of April) is the single busiest transportation period in Monroe County all year. Every bus in the region gets spoken for.
If your student's prom falls anywhere near that window and you haven't booked, you're already late.
For prom: book by January or expect premium pricing or no availability. A typical 6-hour prom rental for 25–30 students — school pickup, photo stop, venue drop-off, and after-party return — costs significantly less when booked 4–6 months early than when you call in March. Call 317-352-2863 today to lock in your date.

Bloomington School Event & Field Trip Transportation
Teachers and administrators across Monroe County trust Party Bus in Indianapolis to get students where they need to go safely and on schedule. A field trip to the WonderLab Museum of Science, Health and Technology (308 W 4th St, Bloomington, IN 47404) or a hands-on day at Conner Prairie in Fishers is far smoother with a climate-controlled charter bus and undercarriage storage for lunch coolers, backpacks, and project materials than it is with a yellow school bus and a van carpool.
Charter buses in our network include TV monitors and DVD players to keep students engaged on longer drives — the run up SR-37 to the Indianapolis Children's Museum (3000 N Meridian St) takes about an hour, and that time goes by fast with a movie going. For IU performing arts school groups attending productions at IU Auditorium, the bus parks on the E Lot side and keeps everyone together for an easy dismissal. ADA-accessible buses are always available; just flag it when you book.
Call 317-352-2863 for school field trip bus rentals in Bloomington!

Bloomington Sporting Event Transportation
IU home football Saturdays at Memorial Stadium (1 Memorial Stadium Dr, Bloomington, IN 47405) are Bloomington's biggest recurring transportation puzzle. The stadium holds nearly 52,000, and every major artery into campus — Fee Lane, 17th Street, SR-46 — slows to a crawl two to three hours before kickoff. The University's game-day parking operates on a permit system; most surface lots near the stadium are reserved for permit holders, and general public parking on the east side of campus along SR-37 means a 20-plus-minute walk to the gate.
A charter bus rental to IU football changes the math entirely: your group boards together in the Kirkwood Avenue neighborhood or wherever you're tailgating, the bus drops everyone near the charter zone on the stadium's west side, and the bus waits for a post-game pickup while everyone heads inside. For Hoosiers basketball at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall (601 E 17th St, Bloomington, IN 47408), rideshare pickup is staged away from the main entry — a private Bloomington party bus drops your group curbside and has you home before the rideshare surge even kicks in. Call 317-352-2863 for game-day bus rentals in Bloomington.

Bloomington Wedding Transportation & Shuttle Service
Bloomington's wedding venue landscape runs from the grand ballrooms of Indiana Memorial Union (900 E 7th St, Bloomington, IN 47405) on the IU campus to the rustic charm of venues in the Brown County hills, like The Barn at Bay Horse Farm in Nashville, Indiana. The stretch down SR-46 East to Nashville is beautiful in any season — but on a Saturday evening after a reception, navigating those winding roads in formal wear is nobody's idea of a good time, especially for out-of-town guests who've never driven them before.
A Bloomington wedding shuttle keeps every guest on your timeline. We cover loops from hotel blocks downtown — the Graduate Bloomington (210 E Kirkwood Ave), the Hyatt Place on the south side — to your ceremony and reception venue, with staggered pickup windows and a single point of contact from your first quote through the final drop-off. Nobody in your bridal party has to navigate the IU campus one-way streets or arrive at the reception looking for a parking spot in heels.
Call 317-352-2863 for a free wedding transportation quote!

Bloomington Winery Tour & Pub Crawl Transportation
Monroe County and the surrounding hills host one of Indiana's best-kept wine secrets. Oliver Winery (8024 N State Rd 37, Bloomington, IN 47404) — the most visited winery in Indiana — sits just north of town on SR-37, with a sprawling outdoor tasting area, a food menu, and a live music lineup on weekend afternoons. Butler Winery (1022 N College Ave, Bloomington, IN 47404) keeps it intimate with urban winery tasting rooms in the heart of Bloomington.
Roll east to Chateau Thomas Winery in Plainfield or south to the rolling hills of Brown County Winery (4520 State Road 135 N, Nashville, IN 47448) for a full-day itinerary that covers 60-plus miles of Indiana countryside.
A Bloomington winery tour party bus rental cuts out the designated-driver debate entirely, and gives the group space to actually enjoy each stop. No splitting into separate cars, no stressing about who drives SR-46 home in the dark. Call 317-352-2863 for a free quote and let's build your itinerary!

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Bloomington Party Bus Rentals
How much does a party bus cost in Bloomington?
Bloomington party bus rental prices depend on vehicle size, date, and how many hours you need the bus. As a general guide: 14-passenger Sprinter limos run $170–$344/hour; small party buses (15–20 passengers) run $204–$378/hour; mid-size party buses (20–30 passengers) run $244–$414/hour; larger party buses and minibuses (35–50 passengers) run $294–$490/hour; and full-size charter buses run $150–$300/hour or $1,200–$2,500/day. IU football Saturdays and Little 500 weekend command the highest demand.
The fastest way to get an exact number is to call 317-352-2863 — we provide all-inclusive pricing in under 30 seconds with no hidden costs.
What's the best way to get a group from Bloomington to Indianapolis for an event?
The SR-37 and I-69 corridor between Bloomington and Indianapolis runs about 55 miles and takes 55–70 minutes under normal conditions. But during Colts game days at Lucas Oil Stadium, Indiana Pacers playoff runs at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, or the Indianapolis 500 at the Motor Speedway, I-465 and downtown Indianapolis streets slow significantly on approach. A charter bus rental from Bloomington handles the entire run — your group boards in Bloomington, rides north together, and the bus drops you at the venue's charter zone so no one is hunting for downtown parking.
We coordinate Bloomington-to-Indianapolis runs constantly and know which entry points to target for each venue. Call 317-352-2863 to book the run.
Where does a charter bus park for an IU football game at Memorial Stadium?
Charter bus parking for IU football at Memorial Stadium is coordinated through Indiana University Parking Operations, and dedicated oversized-vehicle areas are typically located in lots on the stadium's west and north sides, accessible from Fee Lane and 17th Street. All event-day parking in those lots requires a pre-purchased permit — none are available at the gate on game day, and they sell out weeks before the biggest home matchups. We recommend reviewing the IU Parking football page for current lot assignments and permit availability before your game date.
When you book with us, we confirm the current drop-off spot and where the bus will wait for your specific game so there are no surprises at a closed entrance.
Can a party bus or charter bus handle the trip to Oliver Winery and back?
Absolutely — and it's one of the most popular runs we do in the Bloomington area. Oliver Winery sits at 8024 N State Road 37, less than 10 minutes north of downtown Bloomington, and its outdoor pavilion and tasting lawn accommodate groups comfortably. A charter bus or minibus parks on the property's lot while your group tours and tastes, then continues the itinerary to Butler Winery in town or heads out SR-46 East toward Brown County Winery.
The round-trip, multi-stop winery itinerary is exactly the kind of run where a single vehicle makes every stop more relaxed. Call 317-352-2863 and we'll map the route.
What happens if my group is coming from out of town for Little 500 weekend?
Little 500 weekend (typically the third or fourth Saturday in April) is the single most congested transportation period in Monroe County all year. Alumni, students, and visitors pour into Bloomington for the race at Bill Armstrong Stadium, the fraternity parties along 3rd Street, and the Lotus World Music & Arts Festival activities. Campus streets close, parking restrictions expand across the IU campus, and rideshare demand spikes sharply by Friday afternoon.
If your group is flying into Indianapolis and renting a charter bus south on SR-37, you're ahead of most of the crowd — but you need to book the bus months in advance. By February, availability for Little 500 weekend is already tightening. Call 317-352-2863 as soon as your travel dates are confirmed.
How far in advance should I book?
For most Bloomington events, booking three to six months in advance secures the best vehicle at the best price. For peak dates — IU home football Saturdays, Little 500 weekend in April, prom season (April–May), and graduation weekend at IU (typically early May) — book as early as your dates are confirmed. For prom specifically: book by January or expect premium pricing or no vehicle availability.
For a standard evening out on Kirkwood or a winery tour with flexible dates, two to four weeks of lead time is usually workable. Call 317-352-2863 and lock in your date before someone else does.
Popular Bloomington Party Bus Destinations
Bloomington punches well above its size for things to do — a world-class university, a thriving arts scene, great food, and easy access to state parks and wine country all within a short drive. Here are six destinations your group will love arriving at by bus.

Memorial Stadium (Indiana University)
Home of the Indiana Hoosiers football program, Memorial Stadium seats nearly 52,000 and anchors the Big Ten home schedule from September through November. The stadium's location inside the IU campus means every public road feeding into the complex — Fee Lane, 17th Street, and the SR-46 campus approach — slows significantly on game days, with the worst backup typically forming along 17th Street between the stadium and the SR-37 business route. Pre-purchased parking permits in the adjacent lots are the only on-site option; general public lots on the stadium's east side require a 20-plus-minute walk.
For bus groups, the west-side charter drop zone puts your crew steps from Gate 6. Check the IU Hoosiers football schedule for home dates and plan your booking window accordingly.
Address: 1 Memorial Stadium Dr, Bloomington, IN 47405
Phone: (812) 855-4006

Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall
Indiana University basketball has called Assembly Hall home since 1971, and the current Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall holds 17,222 — making it one of the loudest arenas in the Big Ten when the Hoosiers are on a run. The arena sits at the corner of 17th Street and Fee Lane on the east side of campus, and parking for non-permit holders on game nights spills into the surrounding residential neighborhoods and the fee lots along SR-37 East. The post-game rideshare zone on the arena's north side draws a long queue after every sell-out; fans with private buses are waiting and ready to go before the rideshare wait even clears.
Check current scheduling at IU Men's Basketball.
Address: 601 E 17th St, Bloomington, IN 47408
Phone: (812) 855-4006

Oliver Winery
The most-visited winery in Indiana, Oliver Winery sprawls across a hillside estate just north of town with a sun-drenched tasting patio, a 200-seat pavilion, a solid food menu, and a weekend live music lineup that starts mid-afternoon. The property runs free wine tastings Thursday through Sunday, and the estate's outdoor Creekbend Vineyard is a legitimate agritourism destination on its own. Bus groups park in the large gravel lot adjacent to the main tasting building — there's plenty of room for a full-size charter bus, which matters more than people expect given how narrow the SR-37 entrance can feel on a packed Saturday.
Weekend afternoons sell out indoor seating quickly, so calling ahead for large groups is worth it.

WonderLab Museum of Science, Health and Technology
WonderLab is Monroe County's premier hands-on science destination — a 16,000-square-foot museum packed with interactive exhibits on physics, biology, technology, and environmental science, targeted squarely at kids 2 through 12 but genuinely engaging for older students and adults. School groups from across South-Central Indiana use WonderLab as an anchor for day trips, and the museum's education staff can schedule pre-arranged curriculum-tied programs with two weeks' notice. The museum sits in the heart of downtown Bloomington near the B-Line Trail; bus drop-off is on W 4th Street with the nearest oversized-vehicle parking on the west edge of the Showers Plaza lot.
Admission is $12 for ages 2–17 and $14 for adults, with group rates available for parties of 15 or more.
Address: 308 W 4th St, Bloomington, IN 47404

Brown County State Park
Indiana's largest state park, Brown County State Park covers 15,776 acres of hardwood forest in the rolling hills east of Bloomington — about 18 miles from downtown via SR-46. The park draws hikers, mountain bikers, horseback riders, and fall foliage chasers from across the Midwest, particularly in October when the Nashville-area hills turn. Entry is $7 per vehicle for out-of-state visitors (Indiana plates are free).
Bus groups enter through the main gate off SR-46 and use the Ogle Lake area's large parking pull-off for oversized vehicles; the nature center on Ogle Lake Rd is a good anchor for school group logistics. The park's connection to the charming artisan shops and wineries of Nashville, Indiana makes a combined park-and-town-crawl itinerary extremely popular for corporate outings and family reunions.
Address: 1405 State Road 46 W, Nashville, IN 47448
Phone: (812) 988-6406

Buskirk-Chumley Theater
The Buskirk-Chumley Theater is a restored 1922 movie palace at the east end of Kirkwood Avenue — 600 seats, a full arts and entertainment calendar that runs from indie films and stand-up comedy to chamber music and dance, and a location that puts your group steps from the best restaurant and bar block in Bloomington. The historic marquee over Kirkwood is one of the most photographed spots in the city. Parking within a block of the BCT on show nights is essentially nonexistent; the Courthouse Square Garage on Walnut Street (two blocks west) and the 4th Street Garage are the closest options, but both fill fast for sold-out shows.
A bus drops your group at the theater's Kirkwood entrance and picks everyone up post-show — no lap around the downtown one-way grid looking for an open meter.
