The Muncie Party Bus Company for Every Occasion
Party Bus in Indianapolis has been coordinating group transportation across central Indiana since 2011, and Muncie is one of our most active service areas. That means we know the quirks — the Friday-afternoon backup on State Road 332 heading toward campus, the limited street parking along Walnut Street on home football weekends, and the fact that rideshare pickup after a sold-out show at Muncie's Horizon Convention Center can stretch into a 30-minute wait. We have arranged hundreds of trips in and out of Delaware County, from airport transfers down I-69 to Indianapolis International to late-night bar crawls along Tillotson Avenue.
Buses Available covers every group size, so you never overpay for empty seats. A 15-passenger minibus handles a rehearsal dinner shuttle between two venues in downtown Muncie with room to spare. A full 56-passenger charter bus moves an entire department from Ball State University's campus to a conference at the Indiana Convention Center without anyone needing a second car.
And everything comes with one flat, all-inclusive price — no surprise add-ons when the invoice arrives. Our 24/7 reservation team is always a single call away at 317-352-2863 to walk through your itinerary and match you with the right vehicle.

Group Transportation in Muncie Made Easy
For Muncie groups, the coordination problem is the real headache — not just the parking. A Ball State homecoming tailgate pulls dozens of people from multiple directions, and splitting the group into four separate rideshares guarantees someone misses the pregame window entirely. Delaware County's downtown parking situation on a busy Friday night means circling the same blocks until someone finally gives up.
Party Bus in Indianapolis solves the logistics problem with a single vehicle, a single pickup plan, and a reservation team that has worked Muncie runs long enough to know which approach roads get backed up on game day and which ones don't.
Since 2011, we have moved thousands of Indiana groups — school field trips, corporate shuttles, wedding parties, and stadium fan groups — with all-inclusive pricing and no hidden costs. You will know the exact price before you ever confirm a booking. Every vehicle comes with modern comfort amenities, every quote covers the full trip, and every itinerary gets a 24/7 point of contact from reservation through drop-off.
For Muncie groups heading to Indianapolis for a Pacers game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse or an Indy 500 weekend at the Motor Speedway, we cover that corridor constantly and know how to time the I-69 run. Call 317-352-2863 to get started.
Party Bus Rental Services in Muncie
Party Bus in Indianapolis coordinates group transportation for every kind of occasion across Muncie and Delaware County. From airport runs and sporting events to prom nights and winery crawls, we have a vehicle and a plan ready for your group. Call 317-352-2863 and tell us your stops.

Muncie Airport Shuttles & Transportation
The closest major airport to Muncie is Indianapolis International Airport (IND) (7800 Col. H. Weir Cook Memorial Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46241), about 75 miles southwest via I-69 — roughly an hour's drive under normal conditions, but that estimate assumes clear highway traffic and no lane construction around the I-465 interchange. Coordinating a group airport pickup with multiple cars means multiple people behind the wheel, multiple pickup windows, and someone inevitably stuck circling Terminal A while a flight lands early.
A Muncie airport shuttle bus handles the entire run as one coordinated pickup. Your group assembles at baggage claim on the lower level of the consolidated terminal, your coordinator calls when everyone is together, and the bus pulls to the designated commercial vehicle zone on the Arrivals curb. No one hauls bags across a parking garage.
For departure runs, we build in extra time for the I-69 corridor through Anderson, where construction has tightened lanes for extended stretches. If your group is flying out early, we recommend a 3-hour buffer for the drive plus check-in. Call 317-352-2863 to book your Muncie airport shuttle today.

Muncie Bachelor & Bachelorette Transportation
Muncie's bar scene is concentrated along Tillotson Avenue and the blocks around Walnut Street and Jackson Street downtown, and on a busy Saturday night those blocks fill up fast. Street parking disappears by 9 PM, and driving yourself means one person in your group is sober all night by default. A Muncie bachelorette party bus rental solves both problems at once — everyone rides together, the party starts on board, and no one draws the short straw.
Our 15- to 50-passenger party buses include a full-length bar, color-changing LED lighting, a Bluetooth sound system for your custom playlist, and wraparound seating with an open dance area. Your group can hit Heorot Dispensary of Beer (219 S Walnut St), bounce to The Chug (216 E Main St), and close out downtown without anyone watching the parking meter. For groups that want to extend the night to Indianapolis — LIV Nightclub, Howl at the Moon on Illinois Street — the I-69 run is smooth and we wait for the return pickup.
Call 317-352-2863 to book your Muncie bachelorette bus.

Muncie Birthday, Sweet 16, & Quinceañera Party Bus Rentals
A milestone birthday in Muncie deserves an entrance, and a party bus is the entrance. Whether the celebration is a Sweet 16 heading to a venue in Delaware County or an adult milestone birthday that starts with dinner downtown and ends at a bar on Tillotson Avenue, our party buses in the Muncie fleet are set up to match the occasion — pre-load a playlist, coordinate a color scheme, and we can book buses in white, black, or silver to match a quinceañera's theme.
For venue receptions at locations like the Horizon Convention Center (401 S High St) or a private rental hall in Muncie, a party bus arrival in front of the venue makes the moment. Guests board from a single pickup point, ride together, and arrive as a group — no staggered arrivals, no one missing the first song. For adult birthday celebrations heading to Indianapolis, we handle the full round trip.
Call 317-352-2863 to plan your Muncie birthday party bus.

Muncie Concert Transportation & Shuttles
Muncie's primary indoor concert venue is the Horizon Convention Center (401 S High St, Muncie, IN 47305), which hosts touring acts throughout the year and draws crowds that fill the limited surface lots on High Street fast. After a show, those same lots empty slowly, and rideshare demand spikes the moment doors open — 20-minute waits are common on a sold-out night.
For larger productions, groups frequently make the run down to Indianapolis. Gainbridge Fieldhouse (125 S Pennsylvania St, Indianapolis, IN 46204) hosts arena-scale concerts year-round, and Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville draws amphitheater crowds every summer with a lineup that extends well into September. A Muncie concert bus rental handles the I-69 run comfortably, gets your group dropped near the venue entrance, and waits for a clean post-show pickup — no one fighting for an Uber at midnight on Pennsylvania Street.
Call 317-352-2863 for a concert transportation quote.

Muncie Corporate Event Transportation
Ball State University is Muncie's largest employer, and its academic calendar drives a steady stream of conferences, visiting delegations, and departmental off-sites throughout the year. Moving a group of 30 faculty members or corporate guests between campus buildings, local hotels, and off-site dinner venues is a logistics puzzle that gets solved cleanly with a single minibus on a fixed schedule.
For larger corporate occasions — an all-hands meeting requiring a run to the Indiana Convention Center (100 S Capitol Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46225), a leadership retreat at a venue outside Muncie, or a team-building day at a Delaware County destination — a full charter bus keeps everyone together and cuts out the carpool coordination entirely. WiFi and power outlets on charter buses mean the 75-minute I-69 run to Indianapolis stays productive. When your group arrives, they walk in focused — not frazzled from a solo commute.
Call 317-352-2863 to build a Muncie corporate shuttle plan.

Muncie Private Event Transportation Services
Delaware County's event calendar gives groups plenty of reasons to move together. The Muncie Civic Theatre (216 E Main St, Muncie, IN 47305) draws audiences throughout its season, and parking on Main Street during a sold-out production means arriving early or circling. The Delaware County Fair at the Delaware County Fairgrounds brings crowds out every summer, and the traffic on McGalliard Road heading into the grounds backs up predictably.
For larger private occasions — family reunions that bounce between Tuhey Park and a banquet hall, a church group heading to a statewide conference in Indianapolis, a neighborhood association bus to the Indiana State Fair at the State Fairgrounds on Fall Creek Road — one charter bus keeps everyone on a single schedule with no car-by-car coordination. Instead of five families figuring out who rides with whom, one bus picks everyone up at one address and delivers them together. Call 317-352-2863 to build a private event transportation plan for your Muncie group.

Muncie Homecoming & Prom Party Bus Rentals
Muncie's high schools and Ball State University both have major homecoming and prom seasons — and demand for party buses in Delaware County spikes hard between late April and mid-May. High schools including Muncie Central High School and Delta High School in Muncie typically hold proms within a tight 4-week window, and the local vehicle supply fills up faster than most parents realize.
For prom: book by January or expect limited availability and premium pricing. A typical 6-hour prom rental for 25–30 students — school pickup, a photo stop at Minnetrista Cultural Center, venue drop-off, and a post-prom return — costs significantly less when booked 4–5 months out than when booked two weeks before the date. We work with parent committees and student groups across Delaware County to confirm pickup logistics, chaperone seating, and on-time returns.
ADA-accessible buses are always available — just let us know during booking. Call 317-352-2863 to lock in your date before the spring rush.

Muncie School Event & Field Trip Transportation
Teachers and administrators coordinating school trips from Muncie trust Party Bus in Indianapolis because we have handled Delaware County field trips for years. The logistics of loading 45 students, managing luggage, and arriving at a venue before general public hours open require the right vehicle and a team that has done it before.
Popular Muncie-area school trip destinations include the Minnetrista Cultural Center (1200 N Minnetrista Pkwy, Muncie, IN 47303), which runs educational programming for K–12 groups, and off-site destinations like the Children's Museum of Indianapolis (3000 N Meridian St, Indianapolis, IN 46208), an 85-minute round trip that works easily in a school-day window. Charter buses include TV monitors and DVD players for the ride, overhead storage for backpacks and lunch bags, and undercarriage bays for larger equipment. Select vehicles include onboard restrooms that cut out roadside pit stop delays on longer runs.
ADA-accessible buses are always available with advance notice. Call 317-352-2863 for school field trip bus rentals in Muncie.

Muncie Sporting Event Transportation
Ball State University football is the anchor of Muncie's sports calendar, and Scheumann Stadium (2501 W University Ave, Muncie, IN 47306) holds up to 22,500 fans on a home game Saturday. Parking around the stadium on the west side of campus fills from the outer lots inward, and walking distances from the furthest overflow areas approach 15–20 minutes each way. A charter bus drops your tailgate group right near the stadium gates and waits nearby for the post-game pickup — no one hiking back to a lot after a four-quarter game.
For Indianapolis-area sporting events, the Muncie to downtown Indy corridor is one we cover constantly. Lucas Oil Stadium (500 S Capitol Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46202) hosts Colts games and major events where I-65 and I-70 interchange traffic backs up significantly; a charter bus gets your group dropped at the designated commercial vehicle zones rather than circling the Circle Centre garage. The same logic applies to Pacers games at Gainbridge Fieldhouse and Indians games at Victory Field.
Call 317-352-2863 to book a Muncie sporting event bus rental.

Muncie Wedding Transportation & Shuttle Service
Weddings in Muncie and Delaware County span everything from garden ceremonies at Minnetrista Cultural Center (1200 N Minnetrista Pkwy) to receptions at the Horizon Convention Center (401 S High St) and private estates in the county. The coordination challenge for wedding transportation is always the same: guests staying at different hotels, arriving from different directions, and needing to reach the ceremony on time without anyone navigating an unfamiliar road network in formal attire.
A Muncie wedding shuttle loop solves all of it. We pick up at your hotel block — the DoubleTree by Hilton Muncie or the Courtyard Muncie — run guests to the ceremony venue, return them to the reception, and loop back through closing time. Nobody in your wedding party needs to find the corner of Minnetrista Parkway in the dark after a night of celebrating.
A 14-passenger Sprinter limo is the right pick for the bridal party itself on the wedding day. Because we have coordinated Muncie wedding weekends since 2011, your timeline stays tight with confirmed pickup windows and a single point of contact. Call 317-352-2863 for a wedding transportation quote.

Muncie Winery Tour & Pub Crawl Transportation
East-central Indiana has a quietly growing craft beverage scene, and a Muncie pub crawl bus rental keeps your group together from the first pint to the last pour — no designated driver negotiations, no splitting into separate cars at every stop. Start the evening at Heorot Dispensary of Beer (219 S Walnut St, Muncie, IN 47305), one of the most respected craft beer bars in the state with a tap list that rotates constantly. Continue to The Chug for a more relaxed neighborhood vibe, then loop through downtown Muncie's bar district before closing out the night.
For groups that want to extend the crawl beyond Delaware County, Easley Winery in Indianapolis (205 N College Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46202) is an easy I-69 run, and the Broad Ripple neighborhood along the Monon Trail offers a walkable string of bars and taprooms. Your party bus handles every mile between stops and parks while your group is inside — no one worries about a parking meter or a last-minute rideshare surge at 1 AM. Call 317-352-2863 for a Muncie winery tour and pub crawl quote.

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Muncie Party Bus Rentals
How much does a party bus cost in Muncie?
Muncie party bus rental prices vary by vehicle size, date, and how many hours you need. General ranges: 14-passenger Sprinter limos run $170–$344/hour; small party buses (15–20 passengers) run $204–$378/hour; mid-size party buses (20–30 passengers) run $244–$414/hour; large party buses and minibuses (35–50 passengers) run $294–$490/hour; and full-size 40–56 passenger charter buses run $150–$300/hour or $1,200–$2,500/day. Ball State home football Saturdays and spring prom weekends consistently push prices toward the upper end.
The fastest way to get your exact number is our online tool — all-inclusive, under 30 seconds — or call 317-352-2863 for a custom quote built around your itinerary.
How far is Muncie from Indianapolis International Airport?
Muncie is approximately 75 miles northeast of Indianapolis International Airport via I-69, typically a 60–75 minute drive under normal conditions. Construction through the Anderson and Pendleton stretch of I-69 has extended that window at various points — we always build in buffer time for airport runs to make sure your group is never cutting it close at check-in. For early-morning departure runs, we recommend a 3-hour total buffer from Muncie to clear the highway, reach IND, and check in with luggage.
Can a party bus or charter bus handle a Ball State tailgate group?
Yes — and it is the cleanest way to run a large tailgate group to Scheumann Stadium. A full-size charter bus fits up to 56 passengers and carries grills, coolers, and folding tables in the undercarriage bays. Your group rides together, parks once in the designated area near the stadium, and tailgates as a unit instead of trickling in from four different lots.
After the game, the bus waits nearby and picks everyone up at a pre-agreed location — no 20-minute hike back to wherever the car ended up.
Do you serve the area around Minnetrista Cultural Center for events and weddings?
Minnetrista Cultural Center (1200 N Minnetrista Pkwy, Muncie, IN 47303) is one of our most frequently requested Muncie destinations — for school trips, wedding shuttles, and private events. We drop off at the Minnetrista Parkway entrance and wait nearby during the event. Parking in the surrounding residential area around White River Boulevard and Minnetrista Parkway fills quickly for major ticketed events, which is exactly when a bus loop from a hotel block makes the most sense for your guests.
What is the best vehicle size for a downtown Muncie bar crawl?
For most downtown Muncie pub crawl groups, a 20–30 passenger party bus is the right fit. It covers the typical friend-group or bachelorette crew size, maneuvers the turn from Main Street onto Walnut Street without issue, and comes equipped with a built-in bar and sound system so the energy stays up between stops. If your group is larger — think a company happy hour or a combined bachelor/bachelorette night — a 35–50 passenger party bus handles the load comfortably.
Call 317-352-2863 and tell us your headcount; we will match you with the right vehicle from the Muncie fleet.
How far in advance should I book?
For most Muncie occasions, booking three to six months out gives you the best vehicle selection at the best price. Two windows get compressed fast: Ball State home football Saturdays in September and October, when vehicle demand across central Indiana peaks, and spring prom season in late April through mid-May. For prom specifically, booking by January is the difference between your ideal bus at the standard rate and a premium surcharge — or nothing at all.
Art and music events at the Horizon Convention Center that sell out weeks ahead follow the same pattern. Lock in your date as soon as your headcount is confirmed, and call 317-352-2863 right now if your event is coming up soon.
Popular Muncie Party Bus Destinations
Muncie and Delaware County offer more group-worthy destinations than most visitors expect — from a working arts campus and a hands-on science museum to one of the state's most respected craft beer bars. Here are six of the most requested stops for Muncie party bus groups.

Scheumann Stadium
Home of the Ball State Cardinals football program, Scheumann Stadium seats up to 22,500 fans inside a modern facility on the west side of campus. Game-day parking fills from the inner lots outward, and the furthest overflow lots along University Avenue add a meaningful walk — especially after a fall evening game in October cold. Charter buses drop groups near the north and south entrances of the stadium and wait in the campus lot corridors during the game.
Ball State's official schedule page posts game times and tailgate windows; we recommend calling at least 6–8 weeks ahead for any October home date.
Address: 2501 W University Ave, Muncie, IN 47306
Phone: (765) 285-1000

Minnetrista Cultural Center
Minnetrista sits on 40 acres along the White River and functions simultaneously as a museum, an event venue, a historic orchard, and a community gathering space. The main building and surrounding grounds host everything from school programming and art exhibitions to wedding ceremonies and corporate dinners. Charter bus drop-off uses the Minnetrista Parkway entrance on the east side of the property; street parking in the surrounding neighborhood fills quickly for ticketed events.
School groups should coordinate with Minnetrista's education department well in advance of field trip dates. The Minnetrista website posts the current event calendar and group visit information.
Address: 1200 N Minnetrista Pkwy, Muncie, IN 47303
Phone: (765) 282-4848

Horizon Convention Center
Muncie's primary large-event facility, the Horizon Convention Center hosts corporate conferences, trade shows, touring concerts, and ticketed public events throughout the year. The attached Muncie Marriott is a natural home base for out-of-town guests, and shuttle loops between the two work well with a minibus. Surface lot parking on High Street and the adjacent blocks fills quickly for sold-out events, and post-event rideshare demand spikes.
Charter bus groups drop on the High Street side and wait nearby; the building's main entrance on the High Street face is the clearest meeting point for post-event pickups.
Address: 401 S High St, Muncie, IN 47305
Phone: (765) 741-7777

Heorot Dispensary of Beer
Heorot has operated as one of Indiana's most respected craft beer bars for over 20 years, with a rotating tap list that favors domestic independents and a back patio that stays packed on warm evenings. It is the natural first stop on any Muncie pub crawl — central enough to Walnut Street that the group can walk to adjacent bars between rounds, and popular enough that it fills by 9 PM on a Friday. Party bus groups park on Walnut Street or in the adjacent surface lots during the visit.
If your crawl is starting or ending here, the bus can wait in the county parking structure on Jackson Street a block away. No reservations for general bar seating; arrive early for peak-night crowds.
Address: 219 S Walnut St, Muncie, IN 47305
Phone: (765) 282-5600

Ball State University Campus
Ball State University anchors Muncie's identity and generates steady charter bus demand for its own reasons — visiting athletic teams, alumni reunion weekends, academic conference shuttles, and Greek life events. The campus spans 1,035 acres with multiple building clusters; charter bus drop-off zones vary by destination within campus, and event parking on football Saturdays is managed by BSU Parking and Traffic Services, which requires advance permits for oversized vehicles. The Ball State website publishes current event calendars and campus map resources.
Groups visiting for commencement in May should book transportation months in advance — that window is one of the tightest in central Indiana for vehicle availability.
Address: 2000 W University Ave, Muncie, IN 47306
Phone: (765) 289-1241

Prairie Creek Reservoir
Prairie Creek Reservoir is Delaware County's primary outdoor recreation destination — a 1,500-acre lake and surrounding parkland used for boating, fishing, disc golf, and group picnics. The park draws large family reunions and corporate picnic groups in the summer months, when the parking lots off County Road 560 fill during peak weekend afternoons. Charter buses move reunion groups from multiple hotel pickup points to the park in a single run, cutting out the car-by-car convoy and giving every passenger the same arrival time.
The distance from downtown Muncie is about 8 miles south via Nebo Road, an easy 15-minute run. For large family gatherings that need multiple runs, a minibus on a loop schedule works well here.
Address: 6801 S County Road 560 E, Muncie, IN 47302
