Charter bus drop-off is on West Washington Street at the main entrance; the zoo has on-site bus parking in a dedicated area that school groups and large parties should reserve in advance by contacting the group sales office.
The drive from Carmel via US-31 South and I-65 takes about 30–35 minutes. We recommend checking the Indianapolis Zoo group visits page before your trip.
